Welcome to Hi-Me.ai ("Hi-Me", "we", "us"). We are committed to protecting the privacy and intellectual property of the creators, developers, and professionals who use our platform to build their Digital Personas ("Creators").

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your data when you register and use the Hi-Me SaaS platform.

1. Information We Collect

A. Account & Identity Information

  • Registration Data: Name, email address, password, and authentication data from third-party providers (Google, GitHub).
  • Profile Data: Job title, company name, social links, and public biography.

B. Your "Digital Soul" Assets (The Core)

To power your AI Persona, we collect and process the specific data you upload:

  • Knowledge Base: PDF documents, text files, blog URLs, and raw text you upload for RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation).
  • Visual & Audio Assets: Photos for avatar generation (via Flux/Fal.ai) and voice samples for cloning.
  • Custom Instructions: System prompts and personality settings.

C. Billing Information

  • We use Stripe for payment processing. We do not store your credit card information on our servers. We only store transaction IDs and subscription status.

D. Analytics Data

  • We collect data on how visitors interact with your page (e.g., chat counts, page views, click-through rates) to provide you with the Analytics Dashboard.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Service Provision: To host your page, generate AI responses, and render 3D assets.
  • AI Processing:
    • We send your Knowledge Base and Prompts to LLM providers (e.g., OpenAI, Google Gemini, Anthropic) solely for the purpose of generating responses for your specific persona.
    • Data Privacy Promise: We do NOT use your private Knowledge Base to train our foundation models or share it with other users. Your "Brain" belongs to you.
  • Communication: To send transactional emails (invoices, password resets) and product updates (if opted in).

3. Data Ownership & Content

  • You Own Your Data: You retain all rights to the content (text, files, images) you upload to Hi-Me.
  • License to Us: You grant Hi-Me a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, and display your content solely to provide the Service.

4. Third-Party Sub-processors

We trust the following infrastructure partners to handle your data securely:

  • Vercel / Cloudflare: Hosting and CDN.
  • Supabase / Prisma: Database storage.
  • Stripe: Payments.
  • AI Providers: OpenAI, Google Vertex AI, Fal.ai (Image Generation).

5. Data Retention & Deletion

  • Retention: We retain your data as long as your account is active.
  • Deletion: You can delete your account at any time via the Settings page. Upon deletion, your Knowledge Base, chat logs, and personal configurations will be permanently removed from our active databases within 30 days.
